Dear Anitej, To write an honors thesis, you need to find a faculty advisor to supervise it. Often this is done in tandem with joining a faculty member's lab and contributing to the lab's research agenda. We recommend the following strategies for finding a faculty advisor. - Registrar for the honors seminar, if you haven't taken it already. - Through the seminar, you will learn more about research at UMD and faculty advisors. - Go through the faculty webpages(https://www.cs.umd.edu/people/faculty).
